The Dacia Jogger is a practical and spacious rental car in Iceland, ideal for families or groups of up to seven people. With seven full-size seats, it allows everyone to ride together in comfort, making it a great option for group adventures and family road trips.
This 2-wheel drive vehicle is best suited for paved roads and well-maintained gravel routes. While the Jogger offers generous seating, it’s important to note that luggage space is limited when all seven seats are in use. The rear luggage area can only fit one medium-sized bag.
To help with this, the vehicle comes equipped with a 330-liter roof box, which can hold two to three additional bags or up to 75 kg of gear—ideal for storing outdoor equipment, extra clothing, or travel essentials.
Please note: If you are traveling with 7 people and a large amount of luggage, we do not recommend the Dacia Jogger. With all seats in use, luggage space is very limited.

The minimum age to rent a car in Iceland is 20 years, and you must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year.
Age requirements vary depending on the vehicle type:
20+ years for 2WD and medium 4WD/AWD vehicles
23+ years for larger 4WD, SUVs and luxury models
If you haven’t reached 20 or haven’t held your license for 12 months, you can still rent a car, but a young driver’s fee of 25 euros per day will apply to your booking. Make sure to read your rental agreement carefully to ensure a smooth experience on Iceland’s roads.
If you choose our Gold or Platinum insurance, you won’t need to present a credit card for a deposit at pick-up. However, we’ll still need to register a card on file, so a debit card works perfectly fine in this case. Just bring it along and we’ll handle the rest.
