Iceland Is Weird But So Great #5 - The Sheep Round Up

The Icelandic Sheep roams freely in the wild Icelandic Highlands with their newborn lambs during the summer, until they are rounded up by their owners before the long winter sets in.

This is a well-known cultural event for all Icelanders and it takes place every year between September and October.

We encourage everybody to take part in these activities!
